Schedules

Escambia County, Florida recognizes the three (3) year rabies vaccination. The following guidelines are applicable for administering rabies vaccines and subsequent processing of county licenses:

  1. All pets under 18 months of age MUST have the rabies vaccine for 1 consecutive year in order for the 3-year efficacy policy to be recognized by Escambia County. Note: A pet that receives a rabies vaccination at 12 weeks MUST come back in one year to receive their 3-year vaccine.
  2. Similarly, older pets must have 2 consecutive years of the rabies vaccine for the county to recognize their 3-ear vaccination. If a pet has moved in from out-of-state, the new client must show proof that the pet had 2 consecutive previous years of the rabies vaccine.
  3. The county license MUST be renewed every year.

Boarding Schedules and Requirements

Reservations are appreciated for our Pet Bed and Breakfast. We require that all vaccinations be up-to-date, this includes a current rabies vaccination and bordatella. Animals requiring veterinary attention will be cared for at the owner's expense. Every effort will be made to contact the owner before treatment. We encourage you to bring your pet's favorite toys and blankets to make them feel more at home. Birds are most comfortable in their own cages. We always welcome your inspection of board area. Our entire clinic is heated and air-conditioned. Your pet may be picked up during our normal business hours.
